A red-lacquer and giltwood cabinet-on-stand, in the late 17th century style, the upper part with a pierced cresting of foliate scrolls with flowerheads and urn finials with supporting cherubs, the cabinet decorated with pagodas and trees, with birds and figures in lakeside settings, enclosed by a pair of panelled doors, with pierced gilt-metal escutcheons and hinges, the stand with similar carved decoration on shaped legs with scroll feet, late 19th century -- 48in.
