A large Mintons umbrella stand after an original model by Paul Comolera modelled as a fawn standing beside a hollow tree-trunk, her neck raised as she nibbles on an acorn, the tree-trunk and the oval base moulded with foliage, enriched in shades of turquoise, brown, ochre, yellow, green, white and cream (one ear reglued, damages to foliage, other slight damages), impressed marks, shape number 2077, moulded artist's signiature and date code for 1877 -- 33 3/8in. high
