A gilt-metal-mount Sèvres-style swollen oviform ivory-ground vase and a matched domed cover, painted by M. Demonceaux with a scantily clad lady, reclining, and a winged putto flanking a mirror garlanded with roses, in the mirror are silhouettes of a lady and gentlman, the reverse with a cottage and a boat beside a lake and waterfall, the foot with instruments, between bands of scrolling filage, the handles formed as winged putti heads terminating in leaves, late 19th Century, signed -- 24in. high overall (2)
