A SILVER AND ENAMEL CASED BRUSH AND MANICURE SET

The handles of octagonal section, the backs of brush, mirror, buffer and cover of patch box engine turned with a rippled sunburst beneath sky-blue enamel, in a faux shagreen case, also a late Victorian silver belt, maker's mark possibly Rogers & Whitehouse, Birmingham, 1900 composed of square panels each pierced with a female figure astride a chaemera, with chain links, closed by a clasp buckle similarly pierced and applied with an Egyptian couple; also an electroplated belt of similar form and date, the buckle and each of the panels stamped with cherubic heads within a scrolled cartouche (3)
