A William IV compressed moulded circular afternoon teapot on a rim foot, with a rising curved spout, polished wood scroll handle, moulded rim and domed hinged cover with flower finial, the body chased and embossed with rococo flowers, foliage, scalework and C-scrolls and with a crest-engraved cartouche with surmount fashioned as a bird with outstretched wings, Joseph & John Angell, London 1832 - 4½in., 17oz. gross.
