An early Victorian shaped circular two-handled fruit bowl on rococo scrolling foliate feet and with an applied openwork foliate border, the fluted body chased with flowers and scrolling foliage and with interesting later presentation inscription:"Presented to George Burt, by his affectionate Brothers & Sisters, in testimony of their appreciation and Gratitude for his prompt and able administration of their late beloved Parents Estate so equitably and satisfactory to all of them, Novr. 1861", the other side engraved with an armorial, crest and motto, J.& A. Savory, London 1849 - 13½in., 16.50oz.
