An oak ceiling boss, the stepped hexagonal frame issuing a bulbous pendant carved in the round with three portrait reliefs on shield shaped panels flanked by figures of angels above a lobed terminal, later layers of paint, restorations, part lacking, English, early 16th century -- 13in. (33cm.) high.
