A large Cantonese vase with foliate rim, Buddhistic lion handles and moulded guei dragons to the shoulder, painted and gilt with shaped panels of warriors and dignitaries on terraces and on horseback in rocky landscapes, all on a ground of birds, butterflies and insects among a dense profusion of fruit and flower sprays (damaged) -- 34½in. high, wood stand.
