Two similar Imari dishes with foliate rims painted in underglae blue, iron red and gilt with central vases of flowers within a dense profusion of scrolling peonies and leafy tendrils (some gilt and enamel rubbing) -- 8¼in. and 8½in. diam, circa 1700.
