A pair of Meissen four-light candelabra applied with figures emblematic of the Four Seasons modelled by Ernst Leuteritz, with leaf-moulded nozzels and drip-pans above scrolling branches and stems applied with trailing blooms, the figures typically modelled wearing loose drapes, Spring and Summer holding a basket of flowers and corn, Autumn as a putto holding a goblet garlanded with fruiting vines, and Winter wearing a fur lined cape warming his hands above a burning brazier, on shaped bases supported by scroll feet and painted with scattered sprigs of flowers, painted in colours and gilt, blue crossed swords mark, late 19th Century -- 19in. high (2)
