Two German majolica slightly tapering cylindrical jugs with scroll handles , each moulded in relief with a figure of Orpheus seated below a banner inscribed with Hoch dem Saenger Bunde flanked by children singing and playing musical instruments, each within a moulded arched cartouches, the shoulders with branches tied by ribbons inscribed Gruess Gott, the necks with trophies of musical instruments, enriched in colours, impressed mark W & R 47, circa 1865 -- 11in. high (2)
