A well engineered 5in. gauge model of the G.W.R. 4-6-0 locomotive and tender No.6000 'King George V' originally built cira 1948 and rebuilt by C. Whiterod 1986 -- 14 x 70in. (35.5 x 178cm.)
With brazed superheated copper boiler new in 1986, with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, twin injector, whistle, clack and blow down valves. Chassis details include twin inside and outside cylinders, with valves controlled by Joy valve gear and rocking levers, footplate controlled drain cocks, hand operated brake gear, two ratchet operated lubricators, two injectors, working leaf springs to four axles, the centre coupled wheels without flanges, whistle, riveting, bell and lamps. Tender details include detachable water tank with hand feed pump, brake gear, rivet details, water cock, steps and hand irons, finished in G.W.R. livery and lining. Boiler certificate valid to 31.8.90
