A 2in. scale model of the Clayton Undertype Articulated Steam Wagon built by N.D. Fraser -- 18 x 64in. (46 x 162.5cm.)
With brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, mainstop, whistle, clack and blow down valves. Engine details include twin cylinders with enclosed cranks, crank case filler and drain plugs, ratchet operated lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, whistle and single speed chain drive to rear axle. Chassis details include Ackerman steering, rubber tyred wheels with brass hubcaps, working leaf springs, differential unit, water tank, injector and hand feed pump. Trailer details include channel section frame, flat board body with drop down tail board, rubber tyred wheels and foot rests. Finished in green, red and lettered 'EBOR COAL COMPANY, YORK' (some old damages) (2)
