A Cantonese ivory shaped rectangular box and hinged cover
deeply carved with figures in boats, tradesmen, figures with oxes, horses and dogs, and crossing bridges among wisteria, pine, plantain issuing from rockwork beside pagodas within a border of flowers, the sides carved with further figures in similar scenes including a figure on horseback and others carrying a flag and shields -- 10in.(26.7cm.) wide.
