Lager states that a group of Leica IIIc cameras no.s 384351-384400 are listed with the designations M493 to M537. Delivery was made to Berlin in March 1942. Camera numbers 384399 and 384386 with the M536 and M524 designations respectively are illustrated (p. 93). This example fits within that sequence.
