Each spool-shaped on gadrooned and crimped spreading base with similar over hang borders and gilt interiors; also a Continental silver soup ladle maker's mark perhaps P.L. Kopke, probably German, circa 1880, of elongated fiddle pattern with lipped oval bowl, engraved with a monogram, the reverse pricked with a name and dated 1880
