Oblong with canted corners and on four paw and acanthus bracket feet, the platform with a pen tray either side of the central plateau with acanthus and drop border, applied with two pedestal form inkwells engraved with tied foliage garlands and with flame finial stoppers, these flanking the central wafer box surmounted by a Roman lamp taper holder with serpent handle
