claimed; 21-12-40 wounded in combat; 21-12-40 in Ju.52 to Athens; 28-1-41 in combat with BR 20's and Cant 1007's; other combats follow; op's on Hurricane start 21-3-41 Greece. Heavy fighting recorded, in combat with Dornier Do.17 before return to Egypt. 16-7-41 assessment as fighter pilot "Above the average". Conversion to Tomahawk, Blenheim and Kittyhawk. Return to U.K. as instructor 59 O.T.U. Conversion to spitfire 4610 29-7-43 at Cranwell. Other types flown include Master, Wellington and Lancaster.
