A detailed 1in:1ft scale wood and metal star display model of the Sopwith Tabloid prototype of 1913 built by P. Veale. Wingspan -- 25½in. (64.8cm)
With braced fabric covered braced wooden airframe, working elevators, cockpit with two seats, instruments and flying controls, one side covered in aluminium, the other in perspex revealing fuel tank, pipework and detailed GNOME RHONE rotary engine, aluminium cowlings, wooden propeller, undercarriage skids with rubber tyred wheels with shock cord suspension, tail skid and other details. Finished in clear dope, natural wood and polished brightwork
