An Imari shaped oval dish
with foliate rim, painted and gilt with butterfly roundels on a ground of scattered flowerheads and leaves -- 13½in. (34.3cm.) wide; a shell shaped dish moulded and decorated with shaped panels of ho-o, the Three Friends and kiku heads -- 8¾in. (22.2cm.) wide; a kidney shaped dish similarly decorated -- 9½in. (24.1cm.) wide; and two foliate rimmed plates with jardinieres of flowers within dense foliage borders -- 8¼in. (21cm.) diam, (cracks and chips).
