Lot Essay

A plate volume called for on the title-page was apparently never issued though KB lists a 2 vol. copy. Pp. 107-158 contain a political article unconnected with chess, usually lacking, and not included at all in the Dutch edition. Headed "Trois grands Maux curables par trois Grains de Bon Sens", it covers "I Les Maux de Nerfs. II La Guerre. III La Théologie (Dieu, L' Homme & la Révélation)"
