the kings stamped JAQUES, LONDON on the rim of the base, (finials damaged to both kings, 3 bishops and 1 rook, other damages) -- king 4¼in. (11cm.), pawn 2½in. (6.5cm.); in original green baize lined box with the Staunton green label, J. JAQUES & SON, LTD., LONDON, ENGLAND, and the lid with a brass circular cartouche engraved S. Lee Bush April 1st 1902
