with repeat, chronograph and moonphase function, the lever movement signed Sir John Bennett, London, 1552, the cuvette with enamelled makers logo, also lettered maker to the Royal Observatory, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, four subsidiary dials indicating date, day of the week, months calibrated for four years and constant seconds combined phases of the moon, the sweep centre seconds hand deficient, operated by a button in the band, the bezel with strike silence lever and quarters only for strike selection, the repeat operated by a slide in the band, defective, the plain case London, 1885.
