Four English delft blue and white plates
all painted in chinoiserie style, comprising: an octagonal Liverpool plate painted with peonies and prunus issuing from pierced rockwork within a border of panels of flowers interspersed with diaper-pattern panels, a plate (possibly Dublin) painted with a butterfly above flower-sprays within a scroll-pattern border, and two Lambeth plates, one painted with a spray of bamboo and the other with peonies and other flowers issuing from lotus leaves, the rim painted with scrolls, circa 1750-80 (4)
