Two items of English delft
comprising: a Liverpool blue and white large plate painted with cockerels below a flowering branch within a border of flower-sprays and panels reserved on a diaper-pattern ground, with brown-line rim, painted to the reverse with scrolls -- 14in. (36cm.) diam., circa 1760 (minor chips), and a Lambeth bowl painted in polychrome with stylised foliate motifs -- 11¾in. diam., circa 1790
