Two Paris porcelain plates
one painted in shades of black and grey with an urn issuing flowers among grasses, the border with gilt anthemion and scrolls between gilt bands, underglaze blue mark for La Courtille, stencilled mark for Pouyat and Russinger -- 9¼in. (23.5cm.) diam.; the other similar plate painted to the centre with a loose bouquet, the border reserved with musical trophies within gilt roundels reserved on a band on leaves, grasses and stylised flowerheads, blue crossed arrows mark, both circa 1800 (2)
