of slightly flared form and moulded with hoops to simulate a barrel, with two scroll handles and set on three scroll feet, the cover with a single scroll handle, painted allover with scattered fruits and flowers within gilt rims, gold anchor mark -- 5in. (12.7cm.) diam., circa 1765
