A Meissen 'Schneeballen' circular bowl, cover and stand
with strawberry finial, the interior of the bowl painted with a harbour scene of figures by a quayside, in conversation with ships in the distance, within a quatrefoil panels issuing scrolls and diaper panels enriched in black, the cover with three similar panels, both on a gilt grouns, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummern, the stand -- 10¼in. (26cm.) diam., the the porcelain 18th century, interior decoration later (some minor damager, wear and firing faults)
