These are believed to have been worn by Mary Radcliffe, daughter of Sir Francis Radcliffe, of Ordsal, Lancashire, widow of Sir John Stanhope of Elviston, Derbyshire (d.1638) and second wife of Sir John Gell (1593-1671)
