A terrestrial pocket globe, diameter 3 inches (76 mm), 12 hand-coloured engraved gores, showing the tracks of Cooks second and third voyages and Biscoe's Antartic Voyage, original varnish, metal pinions (a few minor abrasions). The globe mounted horizontally in a non-matching Cary imitation fishskin case with horizon circle mount, the lid with celestial gores (gores and horizon rubbed), metal clasps.
