A table celestial globe, diameter 6 inches (152 mm), overall height 10 inches (245 mm), 12 hand-coloured engraved gores, stars denoted by orders of magnitude, constellation figures drawn in outline, original varnish, metal pinions, (light crazing of varnish, a few minor abrasions). The globe set in a metal half meridian circle, mounted on wooden stand, with central baluster-turned support and circular base.
