BALE AND WOODWARD. A New Terrestrial Globe published by G. Woodward London 18[4]5; New Celestial Globe.
A pair of terrestrial and celestial table globes, diameter 7 inches (178 mm), overall height 11½ inches (292 mm). Each globe with 12 hand-coloured engraved gores, the terrestrial with polar calottes and marking the tracts of Cook, Biscoe and Vancouver, original light varnish, metal pinions (some light abrasions to varnish, stains along gore lines). The pair set in brass half meridian circles, mounted on wooden bases, turned centre supports with triangular bases on three flat balled feet. (2)
