N. Parker was a competent animal illustrator for W. & R. Chambers, Ltd. whose other titles included Our Agreeable Friends, 1911 and The Browns: - A Book of Bears. These were done in association with B. Parker who wrote the text and the highly popular Blobbs series, 1926-1927.
