the teapot with maker's mark probably Jas.& Francis Howden, Edinburgh, 1806; the cream jug and sugar bowl maker's mark McHattie & Howden, Edinburgh, 1806
Each oblong with fluted corners and on four ball feet, the teapot stipple engraved with a monogram dated 1906 and with anthemion and Greek Key borders, the cream jug and sugar basin engraved ensuite, all in later wooden case
