A Plaue (Schierholz) white, pink and gilt jardiniere
in the form of an oval basket flanked by a standing and a seated putto, scantily clad in gilt drapery and suspending garlands of roses festooned around the sides of the basket (small chips to petals), blue crowned shield mark, impressed numbers 4108 and 30 -- 11½in. (29.5cm.) wide; and a Sitzendorf shallow oval bowl painted and applied with bouquets and supported on the backs of four scantily clad cherubs (small chips to flowers and leaves) blue crossed lines mark, impressed number 812, both circa 1910 -- 9in.
