of oblong form, the hinged cover finely-engraved with a vignette of The Alfred Beit Bridge over the Limpopo River, the front with presentation inscription to "The Right Honourable The Earl of Athlone", each side applied with a polychrome-enamelled armorial with crest, bearers and motto, in a plush-lined fitted case, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Limited, London 1929 - 12¼in. (31.50cm.); and a photograph of the ceremony.
