of baluster form, on scrolling foliate feet and with a panelled rising curved spout, double scroll handle and domed hinged cover with moulded shaped rim and finial modelled as a pheasant with half outstretched wings, the body and cover engraved with rococo flowers, foliage and C-scrolls and with two vacant cartouches, possibly erased, James Waterhouse, London 1852 - 9¾in.
