A 19th Century style tea kettle
of compressed moulded circular form, decorated with rococo flowers, foliage, shells, scalework and C-scrolls and with two vacant cartouches, a foliate-chased rising curved spout, a gadroon, shell and foliate everted rim, ebonised wood handle and part-chased domed hinged cover with foliate and floral circular finial, on a gadrooned stand with scrolling foliate and shell feet, with a burner, the latter partially plated, Messrs. Barnard, London 1912 - 10¾in. (27.25cm.), weight excluding plated part of burner 52oz. gross.
