An embroidered panel of dark ivory silk satin worked in coloured silks and couched metal threads, with a leashed monkey dressed in a jacket with diaper design about to pluck a peach from a bough overhead, cut down--15in x 19in. (37cm x 47cm), framed and glazed, 17th/18th century
