A set of six silver-gilt teaspoons, a pair of sugar tongs and a mote spoon
in a plush and satin-lined shagreen case, the former dognose pattern and with rat-tail bowls, each engraved with scrolling foliage and fruit and with a vacant oval cartouche, the tongs with shaped stems and a baluster terminal, the mote spoon with simple stem and shaped square bowl, the spoons each struck with a maker's mark only F.L. with a crown above, the tongs with an indistinct mark, possibly part of a crown, the mote spoon unmarked, all probably circa 1700.
