A Paris porcelain ink-stand
possibly Jacob Petit, of rectangular section, with two wells and a sander centrally placed within two pentrays, painted to the interior with panels of flowers within gilt-scroll borders reserved on a pink-ground and similarly decorated to the exterior with flowers on a green-ground, set on four paw feet -- 11½in. (29.5cm.) wide, circa 1840
