A Berlin porcelain mantle clock
the porcelain case of commode form with a central enamel dial fronting a French brass movement striking on a bell, the case painted to the centre and to each side with scenes of figures in 18th century dress in landscapes, with two knob handles modelled as cherub's heads, surmounted by a draped urn and cover, standing on four scroll feet, enriched in colours and gilt, blue sceptre mark -- 13½in. (34.3cm.) high, 19th century (wear)
