of lobed outline, painted to one side with cherubs at play among clouds, to the reverse with bouquets of flowers reserved within gilt-scroll borders on a turquoise-ground, with a gilt-metal mount to the rim and a gilt-metal stand, blue interlaced 'L' marks -- 13½in. (34.3cm.) wide, circa 1890
