wearing a hat and long robes and holding a tablet on a raised rectangular base -- 10½in.(26.7cm.) high, early 17th century; a scholars rootwood carving in the form of a conch shell -- 10in.(25.4cm.) long; a soapstone carving of a standing Guanyin beside a deer -- 9in. (22.9cm.) high; a Japanese silver inlaid bronze oviform vase decorated with cranes among reeds -- 6in.(15.3cm.) high, signed; and a pair of bronze candlesticks decorated with coiled dragons -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high. (6)
