of tapering oval vase shape and on a rising oval base with reeded curved bracket feet, applied with reeded scroll handles and with a rising detachable cover with ball finial, the tap with shell-shaped handle, the body and cover each decorated with a frieze of paterae and scrolling foliage, the cover also applied with a boat-shaped cartouche engraved with a monogram - 17½in. (44.50cm.)
