A fully rigged and planked model of the French 74-gun ship 'Superbe' -- 34¼ x 44in. (87 x 101.8cm.)
With bound masts, yards with stun's'l booms, full suit of stitched sails, standing and running rigging, armorial figurehead, hair rails, catheads, anchors, belaying rails and pins, companionways, bilge pump, gratings, deck houses and lockers. The planked and framed hull has open gun ports and stern gallery detailing, (some old damage). Finished in black, brown and varnish. Stand and legend.
