An unusual planked and rigged model of a single screw steam powered passenger ship, built circa 1938 by J. Clements -- 38½ x 73in (98 x 185.5 cm)
With masts and rigging, anchors, winch, bollards, ventilators, deck rails, companionways, glazed superstructure ans passenger accommodation with open bridge over with telegraphs, ship's wheel, binnacle, radio and DF aerials, funnel with hooter, engine room lights, aft grating, three ship's boats and other details. The hull with bread and butter stern was based on the yacht 'Medina' and fitted with Stuart twin vertical cylinder compound reversing engine with drain cocks, gear and eccentric driven feed pump, disc flywheel and shaft coupling to single shaft and three blade bronze propeller. Finished in green, white and varnish. Stand
