A well detailed wood and metal static display model of the three masted full rigged ship 'Coriolanus' of 1876, built by McMillan & Son, Dumbarton, for J.Patton Junr. & Co. --16 x 27in (40.6 x 68.5cm)
With masts, yards with hand holds and toe ropes, standing and running rigging with scale blocks, female figurehead, anchors, cleats and bollards, capstan, bilge pumps, deck rails, companionways, deck winches, heads, lockers and hatches, four ship's boats with bottom boards, thwarts and oars, belaying rails and pins, deck lights, ventilators, deck houses, ship's wheel, binnacle and other details. Finished in red and white with natural wood decks and mounted on two turned plated columns. Glazed case.
