painted and gilt with a continuous scene of ladies and attendants in an interior beside draped curtains and further figures holding banners beside a stream, bamboo and peonies, all within formal bands of scrolling foliage, kiku heads and geometric motifs -- 9½in. (24.2cm.) high, signed Kinkozan, (restored rim).
