with foliate rim, painted and gilt with a central scene of figures at leisure in an interior within a band of moulded lappets further decorated with alternating sprays of wisteria and hydrangea below a band of dense kiku heads to the rim, the underside with scattered flower sprays -- 8½in. (21.5cm.) wide, signed Yabu Meizan, (piece restuck to rim).
